Genesis 6:3
Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive and remain with man forever, because he is indeed flesh [sinful, corrupt—given over to sensual appetites]; nevertheless, his days shall yet be a hundred and twenty years.”
Matthew 24:37-39
For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be [unexpected judgment].
In the days of Noah, the Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time (Gen 6:5). Weakness of evil as it was then it is today. The earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways (vs 12). The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal 5:19-21). Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men (1 Cor 6:9). The rainbow 🌈 was God's promise of His covenant with His people. This world uses the rainbow to be proud of its sin. The pride of sin is the fall of man. God so loved the world He gave His son Jesus as a sacrificial offering for our sins to come into unity with God. Our sinking souls that are battling the raging flood of sin can still be saved. Time is short.
As we gather for Pentecost 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus. At Jesus' resurrection, there were 500 people who walk with him and learned the Kingdom of God for 40 days. When Jesus ascended into heaven 120 people waited in the Upper Room and the Holy Spirit fell upon them. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and languages of every kind fell on these ordinary men and women to do extraordinary healings, miracles, deliverance, casting out demons, and raising the dead all over the world. There were 380 people out of 500 followers of Jesus from the day of resurrection to the pay of Pentecost who got distracted and slid back to their old ways. 120 dedicated faithful followers of Jesus stayed, received a miracle and the power of the Holy Ghost fell on them (Acts 10:44).
Everyone in heaven is a volunteer. God gives you free will and a choice. You have a choice to accept Jesus as your Lord over your life and allow the Holy Spirit to move through you and for you. Or you can choose to do your own thing and be a miserable backslider of wicked ways. There has never been a happy backslider living in sin. Sin cost you unto death of peace, order, sanity, unity, and love.

In my trouble, I cried to the Lord, And He answered me. Rescue my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, And from a deceitful tongue. For too long my soul has had its dwelling. With those who hate peace. (Psalm 120). Father, I pray to get the sinful world out of me and no turning back. I ask Lord that you save my soul and fill me with Your Holy Spirit to live for you all the days of my life. In Jesus Name Amen.
